Professor's Cozy Cottage of Surprises

Whew, I am edgy, wired, restless, but I slept all day. I could NOT stay awake!!! Now that it’s night, I am pacing like a tiger in a cage. We won’t even get to see the eclipse in my part of the world. New moon passing in front of the sun. Plus the Perseid meteor showers (night 2 of 3 or 4), and the seven planetary alignment at dawn. There is just too much going on.

Overhead lights are too bright, but lamps turned down are too low. Sounds are amplified. Plus I keep tripping over things, so literally being thrown off balance. I remember something similar around 2003 or 04 with the same meteor shower I couldn’t sleep back then, either, so I got up to see any shooting stars. A large rock startled me, appearing to be very close, burning up on entry. Startled me! Anyone else feeling off?
