I did promise live chat, and the server is ready. Community in this beginning stage is free (and I imagine will continue to have a free portion). It is important to me that people and students reaching out have the availability to do so. As we get more participants, we will have time to meet IRL!
Students – who do I cater to?
Middle School/Jr. High – High School with parent permission: homework questions in English, discuss History, poetry, editing. Some science (nothing with math).
College students: same as above (no parent permission, unless under 18). If English is not your first language and you need help with translations, I can help with that too. Especially with poetry or metaphors, it can be tricky.
*The fine print: I am not a certified teacher, I simply have many years behind me as a teacher aide with all ages and abilities. My personal belief is that education should be available to everyone. Further, I will *NEVER* ask you to meet me anywhere in person, ever. If anyone asks you to do anything like that or something disturbing, get off at once after reporting it to me.
AND WHO ELSE IS THIS GROUP FOR? Seekers, wonderers, those seeking deeper conversation topics (not politics or religion, of course). Meaningful conversations about life, space, humans, how we process information…
