You come for a visit, walk the path through the garden, smelling lush greenery, flowers, maybe even the night’s rain or the day’s sun baking the earth.
You enter. Your eyes adjust to the light in the room, picking out interesting titles of books, or figurines on shelves, interesting glimmers from shiny objects, lights from a candle or two.
As the Cottage adjusts to your presence (Mystical Cottage, not AI), you smell one of your favorite scents somewhere. You hear a faint line of your favorite tune.
I greet you, welcome you into The Cottage Kitchen, and offer you to choose a cup or mug of your choice and fill with any of the beverages we have. The Cottage has likely sensed what you were hoping for, and has offered it. Of course regular tea/coffee are here. Water? Fresh from the well. Please, help yourself, and grab a biscuit or scone if you like.
I give you a tour of the sitting room, study, kitchen, and gardens. We walk naturally to where you are drawn to.
The pace is easy, the tone natural. This is time to just be. It’s not therapy, there’s no judgment here. There’s just you and I, the *presence* of fulfilled peace, contentment, and a knowing that whatever is right to be discussed, will be.
If we are in the garden and it starts to rain, we might head indoors to perch by the fire.
What topic comes to mind today? Anything pressing? Curious about something? Let’s look at it.
(Even college homework that is daunting or needs some review, advice, analytical dissecting, or English translation. Poetry, for example, has many meanings and changes with nuance. If English is not your first language, it can be quite challenging. I love a good puzzle!)
